Brian is a career hotelier who has worked in the luxury hotel market on four continents over the last forty years.

Brian joined Swire Hotels as Managing Director in 2006, then becoming Deputy Chairman in July 2017 and Senior Advisor in June 2020.

He spent a significant period of his earlier career at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, holding General Management positions at Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, The Ritz London and Mandarin Oriental, Hyde Park London, before becoming Vice President of Development EMEA.

Prior to joining Swire Hotels, he was the Chief Executive Officer of The Scotsman Hotel Group.
